She refuses to let him stay longer than one night, but Kit believes in fate, so he offers Amethyst a deal: give him twenty-four hours to satisfy her—maybe with a little help from the contents of the R&D case—and if she still wants him to leave, he’ll walk away.
Kit is certain he’s the future Mr. Devine. Now he just needs to convince Amethyst that she’s his future wife.
